Terms of Service
Version 1.0, effective 2026-11-03
These terms apply to your use of Those Scary Slayers (the "game"), at scaryslayers.com, run by Michał Turek-Brzozowski, Poland ("we"). By playing the game or creating an account, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the game. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Using the game
The game is a browser game offered for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. The game is free to play and has no ads or purchases. You must be at least 16 to use it. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it at any time, including its balance and content.
Accounts
You do not need an account to play. To sign in, you tick a box accepting these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you sign in with Discord or Google, you are responsible for the account you use there, and that provider's terms also apply. You can delete your game account from Profile at any time. We may suspend or remove access to accounts or features if you break these terms or to protect the game.
Saves
Your progress is saved in your browser, and cloud saves are an optional sync of your bloodline progress. We do not guarantee that any save will be preserved. Saves can be lost if you clear browser data, use private browsing, change device, or if an update, a sync conflict or a service problem affects them. An update may make an older saved run impossible to load. Saves have no monetary value. Keep in mind that we may be unable to restore lost progress.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt the game, its servers or its endpoints, or get around its rate limits or security;
- access another person's account or data;
- send false, automated or abusive statistics or reports;
- use reports to send unlawful, abusive or infringing content, malware or other people's personal data;
- copy, resell or republish the game, or use it for commercial purposes without permission.
We do not support modified copies of the game or cheats, and they may break your saves.
Feedback and reports
You can send bug reports, feedback and ideas. Do not send anything confidential. You keep any rights you have in what you send, and you give us a free, worldwide, perpetual and non-exclusive permission to use, copy, adapt and publish it to run and improve the game, without owing you payment or credit. We may publish the substance of a report, for example in a bug tracker or patch notes. We do not have to respond to or act on a report.
Intellectual property
The game, including its code, art, text and design, belongs to Michał Turek-Brzozowski or its licensors, and all rights not expressly given are reserved. You may play it in your browser as these terms allow. Third-party components remain under their own licenses. The game's wiki is a separate community site on Fandom, governed by its own terms. Discord and Google are trademarks of their owners, and they do not endorse this game.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that it will run on your device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of saves, progress or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the version and date above and list the change below. For significant changes, we will also mention them in the game's patch notes. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, the new terms apply to you. If you do not accept them, stop using the game and delete your account.
- 1.0, 2026-11-03: First version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, and disputes go to the courts with jurisdiction over the operator's place of residence, except where the law where you live gives you a right to use your local law or courts.
